Homestar Runner: Ranger/Rogue. Some folk say he's a terrific athelete,
and he's always hiding in shadows to the right of the screen and
sneaking up on Strong Bad. Also he has said he gets in by picking the
lock on Strong Bad's door.

Strong Bad: Fighter/Rogue. He talks tough, but he's clearly not above a
sneak attack or kicking The Cheat. He's also often involved in sneaking
around, B&E, etc. Likes to think he has a high Bluff skill.

Marzipan: Bard, or possibly Druid/Bard.

The Cheat: Small Rogue

Strong Mad: Barbarian with no neck

Pom-Pom: Monk, as evidenced by his severe beating of Strong Bad when he
tried to pop him with a pin. Pom-Pom is a monk without a vow of chastity.

King of Town: Aristocrat with low Charisma.

Bubs: Expert with ranks in Appraisal, Perform (Dance), Craft skills, and
Bluff.

Coach Z: Likes to think he's a bard but really he's just a crazy old
man. Commoner with some ranks in Perform (Sing).

Poopsmith: Probably a Commoner, but possibly a powerful Monk. Has a Vow
of Silence.

Homsar: Probably just the village idiot (and in a village containing
Homestar and Strong Mad, that's saying something!), but possibly a
powerful Alienist.

Strong Sad: A pathetic, whiny Commoner.

The Goblin: A goblin. Shows up around Halloween.

He can transform to the Thnikkaman (1/day?) and double his CHA. Too bad he
can't fly anymore.

Damn! I forgot about those. Clearly, Bubs has at least 4 levels of
sorcerer in order to cast both Levitate and Eagle's Splendor. He
probably has the Repair Damage spells too.

Strong Bad, meanwhile, has a magic item in the form of a blue triangle
which allows him to open Cold Ones via telekinesis.

What's the CR on Trogdor? Should it be normal for human (half-dragon
template), or should I deduct for the one arm?

My Trogdor messenger bag totes my books handily from home to the game
every other week. Could it be the next Crown Royal dice bag?

Despite some waffling on the topic on the part of Strong Bad, Trogdor is
neither a man nor a dragon-man, but a full-blooded dragon. However he
doesn't seem to have any claw attacks, just a big beefy arm coming out
of the back of his neck.

Mostly he seems to stomp on peasants, so I'd give him a slam attack with
his feet.

As for CR, it depends on whether or not he is burninating. Word has it
that he is capable of smiting the Kerrek, which looks sort of ogre-ish,
so it's probably higher than an ogre's CR.

If you read further it appears to have something to do with Trogdor.

See, you've just lost the game. Whenever Ron pops up with a seemingly
nonsensical post filled with gibberish, there are always two
possibilities:

1) It actually is gibberish.
2) You're missing something.

Personally, I hate to miss things, so on those occaisions when I don't
recognize the more obvious pop-culture references in a Ron post (and
there are TONS; I think an "Annotated Werebat" or "Complete Idiot's
Guide to Ron" would be fascinating toilet reading), I drop by Google
and have a look.

You'd be amazed at the bright and colorful nooks/crannies of online
civilization you'll come across if you take the time to run a few
phrase searches from a Ron post. Here's an easy one, and a personal
favorite:

"*JUMPING* *PEPPERS*! It is *SMILEY* *TIME*! Are you liking *PARTIES*?
You *SMELL* like you do!"

Obviously, the above would be nonsense to anyone with no Star Control
experience, but a few minutes on Google will reveal substrata of
geek-speak and a bottomless well of in-jokes previously unknown to
those who put perhaps too much stock in sunshine and a sex life.

My pet theory (one of many) is that Ron is actually contracted by
Google (or is perhaps a bot, construct, or prototype AI), and tasked
with driving traffic to their site by dropping obscurities into online
forums, thereby baiting people with no lives into ferreting them out so
they can be part of the party.

While you contemplate that and compose the inevitable sneer of disdain,
I must venture forth for more coffee...it's cold down here in Mom's
basement.
